Planning: London and Stockholm

On my autumn break I went to London and that story and those nice pictures will still have to wait a while... I'm pretty busy with work these days, hoping it will get a bit easier in the next few weeks (when exam week number II is done).

Tomorrow I'm leaving to Stockholm with Pictura! Awesome! We're going to the Stockholm Photo Fair and doing some other cool stuff, too. The fair is not my favorite thing, but I'm looking forward to seeing some nice photos and presentations - and the museums, coffee shops, shopping, etc... Excited! Take a look how it looked and what we did last year, you can find the story here!

And PS: can't believe it's been a year already! :/
Yikes. Time really does fly...

World of Tango, Tampere (17-18/9/2011)

Quite awesome to have tango dancing friends!
A car full of tango dancers (aka 4 people:) took off to Tampere for the World of Tango Festival main weekend. We had a lot of fun!

I stayed with a friend, and what a good thing that led into: Riikka talked me into going to London with her and her friends! On Saturday we ate tasty burgers at restaurant New York, on Sunday we had coffee at café Runo.

As usual, here are a few photos!

Putting on some contact lenses and tango shoes and we were good to go!

Silla & Jere, Saturday day milonga at Telakka.

Charming lamp and ceiling at Runo.
Upstairs on the balcony more seats.

Runo café.

Rikkaa having coffee, chocolate treat and fashion :)

London calling!:)

Fantastic! I'm so happy!
Let me tell you all about it: I went to Tampere last weekend to take part in a tango event (World of Tango), which was very nice btw.

In Tampere I conveniently stayed with an old friend, who lives close by to the tango place, and when we were out eating I started whining about not having anything to do on my autumn break. She suggested that I join them on their trip to London. What a great idea! :)

So when I got home, I sent some e-mail, did some checking, a few days later booked som e-tickets, and so I'm almost on my way!:) :) First time in London, cool! :) :)

Starting Easter in Helsinki

Yay, tomorrow Helsinki! Looking forward to Photo museum, Kiasma, coffee shops with Saija and other fun stuff! On Thursday I'll head home to my mother with my friend Päivi.

In May I've planned a two day quick work related trip to Stockholm, which will be awesome. I just finished booking my tickets with Norwegian.com - a round trip for less than 100 euros, nice! Although I'll have to take the bus to Helsinki and back, but still pretty cheap.
